The Redesigned Texas Workforce Commission 

Once the wireframe was completed I created a mockup with color palette.  This color palette is complementary and adheres to the branding styles. I updated the mission statement to be a one liner rather than two lines.  I changed the Texas seal out for the Texas logo, used on Texas.gov, to facilitate a more consist branding. I made the search prominent because the most of feedback I received was that things were hard to find.  The feedback I received was that users could not find were to sign in made the “Sign in” prominent on the homepage.  

Initially I had programs as its own category on the home page, after some additional discovery the primary user is a job seeker, the secondary user is the business owner and the tertiary user would be an agency user (or someone seeking information on the agency) which is why programs is only a menu item.  I provided the site with more translation options.
